Therapies & Programs at Discovery
Clinical Therapies
• Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
• Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy
• Acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT)
Holistic Therapies
Experiential activities are included in therapy, such as playing in the large yard, gardening, art or yoga, all of which support emotional regulation and awareness.
School Program
This program is offered to young patients, where an education liaison supervises and supports them through their schoolwork. The education liaison also collaborates with the patient’s therapist to ensure they have the right environment in place for learning, which will in turn help them reintegrate into their school after treatment.
Family Support
Families are a big part of the healing process, which is why we offer weekly sessions during treatment. Once treatment is done, family members can access an alumni app and online support groups.
