How We Can Help Your Child
We measure 27 wellness indicators, before, during and after treatment, to ensure that patients stay on track with managing their mental wellbeing.
Get top-quality care in the comfort of your own home with flexible online mental health treatment; find customizable care at our in-person intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs; or get comprehensive and secure care 24/7 in one of our residential treatment centers (RTC).
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and medication management are available in online and in-person care.
Focus on mental health treatment and studies is possible through Discovery’s School Support Program for patients within our RTC level of care.
Our comprehensive aftercare program, Discovery for Life, includes Discovery365™ — our exclusive app that uses breakthrough AI technology to intervene when you need additional support during the first year post-treatment.

Once you’ve mastered them and have completed treatment, you’ll be ready to use what you’ve learned so that you can live a more fulfilling life.
Clinical Therapies
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT),
Acceptance commitment therapy (ACT)
And more
Holistic Therapies
Experiential activities are included in therapy, such as playing in the large yard, gardening, art or yoga, all of which support emotional
regulation and awareness.
School Program
This program is offered to young patients, where an education liaison supervises and supports them through their schoolwork. The education liaison also collaborates with the patient’s therapist to ensure they have the right environment in place for learning, which will in turn help them reintegrate into their school after treatment.
Family Support
Families are a big part of the healing process, which is why we offer weekly sessions during treatment. Once treatment is done, family members can access an alumni app and online support groups.
Leadership Team
Meet the dedicated behavioral health professionals who will walk with you every step of the way.

What People Say about Discovery Mood & Anxiety
“This has been my best
experience with mental health treatment by far. I was able to uncover and help a lot of things I’ve never been able to help before. I would know if I told someone to come here that they would be safe and would get the help and care they needed.”
D.B., former patient at Discovery Brentwood
“My daughter felt the program was useful in helping her to identify her triggers as well as learn strategies for dealing with
strong emotions. The family
sessions were tough, but so
valuable. I always had a lot to
think about, and I am hopeful
my daughter and I can work through life with more ease
and grace.”
S.R., parent of former Discovery Brentwood patient
“[After treatment at Discovery], she is now thriving in school, has all the treatment she needs and deserves, and is connecting to her peers in healthy ways. No longer are we afraid for her life or afraid for our safety. We live a more peaceful, easeful family life, able to communicate effectively about challenges… we can say with confidence that she is stable – something we couldn’t say for the four years prior to treatment at Discovery.”
