San Jacinto, CA

Virtual treatment available: DMA outpatient programs can also be accessed via online telehealth services.
Our residential treatment program in Riverside County provides 24-hour care for patients in need of structure and support. Our 19-bed San Jacinto home is a serene place where patients can focus on their recovery. Treatment is customized and employs a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and more.
Patients are also encouraged to make the mind-body connection by finding activities that promote healing and feelings of self-worth, including making use of our full-size basketball court and swimming pool as well as weekly hikes and other mindful movement activities.
Two onsite educational liaisons provide three hours of schooling a day, either working with the school the student is enrolled in or in an independent studies curriculum through a nearby learning program. The goal in treatment is to have our patients gradually spend less school time on-premise with us and more time in a real-life educational setting that makes educational reintegration into their school back home as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Our robust family programming includes a 90-minute family session each week as well as appropriate activities, outings and multi-family groups on Sundays. Families who attend multi-family group are invited to join us for an onsite dinner every Sunday night after program.
Discovery is in-network with all major insurance companies and provides complimentary insurance benefit verification. We can also work to obtain a single case agreement if necessary.
