Online Therapy that Truly Meets You Where You Are

At Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program (DMA), our online virtual programming for mental health was intentionally created to meet the needs of adolescent and adult patients with mental health disorders in the comfort of their own home. Patients have different reasons for not being able to attend therapy in-person – transportation, daily schedules, commitments. All reasons are valid and everyone should have the opportunity to get the quality care that literally meets them where they are.

5 Reasons to Choose Virtual Treatment at DMA

When we say our mission is to provide better access to mental health care to both adults and adolescents, we mean it. The need is great, and the delivery of services should reach anyone who needs help. So, why should a person consider online treatment at DMA?

1. Enhanced engagement among patients – In their own safe space, patients may find participation more comfortable compared to in-person group sessions.

2. 25+ years of experience in helping people manage a mental health disorder – The virtual setting is new, but not our expertise. Since 1997, DMA has treated mental health disorders with evidence-based and holistic therapies. Our approach to treatment is also guided by a commitment to be inclusive of all patients and staff members.

3. Purposefully virtual content and curriculum – This platform takes our in-person intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP; in select states) programs to make an equally impactful virtual program. An exclusively virtual curriculum also reduces the worry of sudden changes to in-person meetings by fully utilizing technology to get treatment.

4. Specially trained team – Therapists are specifically trained to conduct treatment in a virtual setting and are well-versed in technology.

5. Reduced travel burden – For those who struggle finding adequate transportation have obligations close to home, school or work, the virtual program is ideal.
